Country music in Ireland?

Outside of St. Stephen’s Green was this guy wearing a cowboy hat and playing slide guitar. Way to introduce some good American country music into Ireland. Ironically funny.

Pretty cool! Country music isn’t all that foreign to the Irish, really – there is actually a large Bluegrass festival down in Dunmore East, County Waterford every year in the late summer. I was there last year, and whilst I’m more into trad music, it was still good fun!
